Barrows Goldeneye vs. Common Goldeneye.

I have several friends saying that you cannott retain any more than 2 Goldeneyes per day.

When i read the hunting guide it stats that you can only retain 2 "Barrows" Goldeneye in one day.

I assume that its ok to fill your bag limit (6) with Common Goldeneyes?

Am i correct?

That is how I interpreted it! But I am not 100% sure.
