Encounter of the Coyote

It was a close encounter of the coyote kind. While she was out for a walk in the Goulds near the Robert E. Howlett Highway, Stacey Holden says a coyote came a little too close for comfort. The animal crossed her path and started growling. It looked like it was poised to attack, so she started running toward her house, with the coyote trailing close behind.

Holden says it was the first time that she had seen a coyote, but she was on the look out for them. She made it home safely, but the animal stuck around. Once she made it inside, it stayed in her yard and just stared. Holden grabbed a broom and started making noise with it until the animal eventually fled. Tuesday May 3 2011

hey tony wayne .hunting tonight no luck. going close to were that one was seen today tommorow. besides that a buddy of mine lives down bye fire station in goulds. had one walk right into his back yard 7;30 tonight right up to dog kennel. kids in back yard . fire couple shots at him with 22lr scared never got him .then took of back in the woods really becomeing a problem two close calls 1 day.
