Just wondering if those store bought sent lures work for dragging in coyotes?

What do you mean by drag them in, they will react to the scent, to what degree will depend on a lot of other things.
Used in conjunction with baits to help them find your baits,
Its great for trapping.
Coyotes in my experience are very cautious, rarely hungry.
Sometimes the only reaction will be a break in his stride and then he will carry on.
I have used it around baits and sometimes next to the call or decoy, I dont anymore because if he is close enough to smell it on the decoy he is close enough to shoot. And it makes my clothes smell.
You dont have to buy a lure you can make your own from almost anything, mix it with a cooking oil or castor oil to keep it from freezing
Hope this helps.
Well what i mean by dragging them in was if i was gonna hunt a certain area i could place some attractant lure around & try calling them in the next day or so, but as you said " a break in his stride & carrying on " probably would be better off to make my own, cheaper anyways haha, but mostly just curious cause i don't think there are quite so many round here (carbonear area) & any sign at all would be a great help to keep me interested,,, thanks for the reply Fred!
when I trapped I made a lot of my own lures
