Hey guys,

Lucky enough to have a few weeks off this summer for some fishing. I've only recently moved to NL and I figured it's a good opportunity to explore on and off the island.

I'd like to take the ferry over to Labrador for some pike fishing. I know there are several places all over Labrador I could go, but I do not have any particular place in mind. I just looking for a safe, and fun adventure.

I have a kayak that I'd like to bring with me, but I have no idea where to begin my search.

All google searches send me to lodges but I'm more of a DIY kind of fisherman.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking if you drop a line anywhere you will hit some clever fish of every type. I'd love to take a trip there myself and do the exact same thing. My only advice is prepare for the worst fly infestation. I hear they are brutal. Good Luck.
