Geez I think that's what i have for my 7mm REM 160 grain i think...tell you the truth i shot my first moose with them ..my gun was sighted in wrong and she was shooting 8 inches high at 50 yards and 4 inches at 100 yards. The moose was coming towards me and wouldn't turn broadside, So I decided to hit him in the chest hope the Bullet didn't go through to his panch.
The Bullet hit him in the neck dead centre and he flopped backwards and went down, made a few kicks and died, I waited 30 mins went up to him and prepared to cut his throat but didn't need to as the bullet blew it out. My uncle inspected the neck and noticed the spine was not penetrated by the bullet ...Instead it struck the spine and shattered causing a massive hole in the neck flesh ... So the moose was most likely paralyzed and bleed out quickly dieing from blood loss from the neck wound..not sure if should use those bullets again.
I dont know if Barnes makes 7mm bullets but they look like they might be a good round they are copper bullets and the price is pretty high , heard a few fellows say they liked them but have to becarefull and shoot really well because they pack a wallop and can destroy alot of meat if you cant shoot correctly..
