MMA 39 - Cloud River

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew anything MMA 39 (Cloud River), located on the northern peninsula. I've never hunted out this way before, and access looks to be limited (except for a number of logging roads that access the north western corner of the area). When I look at Google Earth, it looks as though all the roads are passable for a pickup. Looks as though the two main access points are to the east of Castors River off the Highway 430, and using some logging roads south of Highway 432.

I've always heard that moose are plentiful on the west coast - is that still the case? I was thinking about going out there around early to mid-December.

Does anyone have any experience hunting in this area, maybe give some guidance on places to try out?
