Moose hunting solo

Anybody ever go moose hunting alone.  I got a tag and nobody to go with.  I am game to go alone, just  wondering what people think. I don't have a quad and hope to use the Alaskan method of field dressing the moose. Basically taking all the meat off the carcass and carrying it out that way.  Probably a days worth of work depending on where the moose goes down.
