We got our animal on day 1 of the season. I seen 7 altogether. I hunted in area 36 Cappahayden, also seen a black bear.

For sure we filled 2 licenses on 1st. day in area 31.  We called out two bulls and that was all we saw. One was a 26 point bull and weighed in at 786 lbs. dressed.

The wife got her moose in area 34 an eight point bull that went 400 lbs. We hunted for nine days, had a week off so took our time getting a moose. Saw moose every day. Only problem we had was getting someone to cut up the moose.

I get Nelson Fagan in Foxtrap to do mine. Good fella.

Hard job to get a good butcher.  I call my butcher as soon as the moose is down to make a booking.

I get the guy in upper gullies to do mine. Never had no problems. Does great work.

I called a few places and they were all full and could not take anything for three or four days. We did find a person to take it before the meat could go off.
