Snares

How many snares are you allowed to put down, and how often do you check them,do you only get rabbits what else do you get in your slips.  The reason I ask this is were I hunt to we came across a slip line and it look to me that they were not check in a long time and these slips are left open to snares  all that it can, 24 hrs day 7 days a week this to me seem wrong

Currently i have about 30 slips out. i check them every 2-3 days. I have snared grouse and squirrels as well...no cats or dogs.

seasons over but i usualy have about 50 or so out and check them every day and i also catch,grouse and squirrles
