Spring/Summer Trouting Season dates for Gander/Appleton Area

Anyone know when the season opens for trout fishing in the Gander and Appleton area?

I believe its on May 15 th.But double check to be sure

It is may 15 th for the whole island for trout and June 1st for salmon
