Its a great caliber and your right some of those really light guns in magnum calibers must kick like a mule. Mine is an older Remington ADL that I free floated and glass bedded. Its shots very good with handloaded ammo.Weighs maybe 9 -10 lbs with scope and sling
true and if someone wanted to go for a lighter gun. For most a light weight in a 308 or 7mm-8 will do just fine.I have a 6.5x55 in a Remington and it has not problem with anything we have wandering around in Nfld.
