BOAT or KAYAK.
OK I gotta pick one, have both on gatta go, both will be camo.
motor reqiured, more weight
not very mobile
PROS: LIGHT weight
no motor still fast enough,
Easy to launch
drag decoy bags in water behind
OPEN for opinons,
No real big water hunting will be done in either
| compromised somewhat in between. I cut an old aluminum scanoe and took about eight feet out of it. I riveted the two sections back together so its 7 ft long and 4 ft wide. You couldn't tip it if you tried. It weighs about 20 lbs and can be carried on your shoulder and has room for the decoys while I am paddling around the gullies.
I think I am gonna go with the kayak as it can alomst be used and dragged anywhere by myself, the boat gotta be realtively close to a road, that being said I may hold off for one season and try it out first.
