I have heard alot of members say that the SX3 is the best on the go. A few of my buddy's have one as well and they love it and had no trouble with it. BUT it like all gun's it's a hit or miss. I have a M883 and had no trouble with it and there are guys on the site that had nothing but trouble. Wish you all the luck in buying a new gun.
Cheers.
Ive had mine for 3 years now, love the gun, smooth shooting and light recoil. Only trouble I had was with a retaining pin for the trigger assembly, they are held in with a very light piece of wire and its easily knocked of while cleaning or assembling the gun, but not a issue once you know about it. There is also a spring in the stock that will fill up with water and eventually start to rust if the gun is not dried out before storage. I have no trouble with any shell except the Winchester value packs, will not cycle them, found out on a turr hunting trip.
Had one now for three years, love the gun.....ni issues with it yet
james, from all ive read on gun chats in the us and canada the only problem that some people have with the sx3 is the dura coat itself ,with hard use it seems to start to peel off.if you can get it without that it may be the best way to go,,,,i bought a sx 2 in 3 inch in 2001 with no problems great gun.
