I am in the market for a new atv/snowmobile trailer. I have looked at the galvinized ones but they seem to rust after a while, so I have 2 trailers picked out to purchase. The two trailers are made of aluminum. The first is a Mission Trailer sold by Ashfords the second is Rough Rider sold by Mobile Trailer. Both are 8.5 x 10, shield, jack, the Mission has 20.5 8 10 rated 10 ply rated for 1650lbs per tire. Rough Rider has the 18.5 8 8 6 ply rated for 935 lbs.

I have personally never owned a aluminum trailer, but have heard of a couple people who have had them in the past for ski-doos and have had them crack of were the 2 supports join on the tow bar. Not sure if its a common problem or a case of miss use but would be worth looking into.
What was the name of them, do you remember?
can't remember but I think it was 2 different brands.
might be worth contacting Steve at Top Gear Auto and Recreation.728.9662,He is a sponsor of the site and he might save you a few dollars.
As for aluminum I wouldnt worry , but there is nothing wrong with galvanized either.
Where are they located to, Fred?
