Black Cat.. Panther

Saw a Black Panther 2 years ago on the highway in Bay d'Espoir I was riding my bicycle on the highway not far from the Garbage pit when the large black Panther crossed the road in front of me. It had it's nose close to the pavement..looked like it was tracking and it did not see me. It was an amazing experience to see such a large powerful majestic animal. I emailed the forestry department in St. John's but did not receive a response or reply.

We did our trapping course and the teacher said they were trying to get some hair samples of it or a pic or something to tell what it was. You were some of a few who had saw this cat. Congrats.
