Large cat sighting in Hearts Content

On August 31st at the entrance to the walking trail leading from the lighthouse we saw a large tan cat, the height of a very large dog but much longer with a long tail. Someone suggested it could have been a lynx but it did not look like a lynx. Head was small and ears were not like a lynx. We asked at the post
Office if they were aware of any large cat sightings in the area and they were not aware of any. Unfortunately we did not get a picture before it moved on.

That's the first tan one I've heard of. More of them around than we think.
