Saw something

Was back home to visit family last June. Was out quadding on the flats. On my way back when I notice something big running across the edge of the marsh. I was thinking a big coyote,I said to my self that's one big coyote. Had the sunglasses on it looked black. I stop and tried to get my camera out, it stopped and looked at me. I was saying stay there don't move, but by the time I got my camera out it started running away and just got a poor shot of its head. Anyway I was thinking it was a coyote, when I got back home I was telling my neigbour and he said it might have been a cougar. First I heard of cougars in Newfoundland, so I took a closer look at the pictures and it does look something like a cats head.

I was out in the same area the day before, and this caribou started to walk up over the same Marsh. It just walk up so far and turned around and start running full tilt across the woods edge in and out of the woods until it just headed out across the water to another point on woods.
