I have a Foxpro Wildfire and I am trying to add a few new sounds but I am getting stuck in the transfer to the tx9... I have already completed the process to the point where the new sounds have been added to the micro sd card, and so far all that looks ok. I didn't have to rename any files as they were downloaded directly from the foxpro site and were already named accordingly. My problem is when I plug in the cable to download the sounds to the TX9, it is going according to plan up until it tells me to turn on the caller to begin transfer... at which point I do so but the transfer never begins. It is almost as if it doesn't recognize that the caller is turned on. Has anyone else ever had the same problem, or something similar? Any help straightening this out would be great... no support line open today (sunday) unfortunately, so if someone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Ok, since posting this question, I have managed to rectify my problem-sort of. The tx9 unit appeared to be "Stuck" if you will, and removing the batteries didn't seem to have much of an effect, so in a last ditch effort to get things moving I removed the batteries from both the remote and caller, as well as the sd card, and let the whole thing sit for a couple of minutes to make sure there was no residual power in either of the units. I don't know why this worked... or if it was merely a coincidence, but it did. Once I reattempted to program the tx9 remote, everything went as per the instructions on the website with one exception-the new sounds were not there. I tried this several more times, and finally tried renaming the files so they were sequential with the ones I already had (last one there was 034, so I started at 035, 036, etc...) and this seemed to fix that problem. I hadn't read that this was necessary, but again it seemed to fix my problem. Both of these fixes may have been coincidences... I can't say for sure, but if anyone else runs into the same problem/s try it out, you never know it just may work. I should add 2 things: This my first attempt at programming this unit so it is all relatively new to me and I am using a mac computer so there is no "foxpro programming utility" to make use of. Also I am not a strong believer in coincidence so I feel these steps may have actually fixed the issue/s.
