New Phone Numbers for Moose and Coyote Sightings

If you've seen a moose or coyote in your neighbourhood, the fish and wildlife enforcement division of the Department of Justice has some new numbers for you to call to report what they call nuisance or problem wildlife.

In the metro region and most of eastern Newfoundland, the number to call is 729-8377; in western Newfoundland, it's 637-4068; Labrador region residents can call 282-3433.

The division is also advising the public to report any vehicle-wildlife accidents to the RCMP or the RNC.
