Go to www.varmintal.com to get some great free sounds for calling coyotes. Lots of different prey sounds, coyote howls and other vocalizartions ,as well as a couple sequences that you can just turn on and let run. His 16 minute sequence has worked for me a few times. These are all mp3 files which should work with most callers. I have them on a Foxpro FX3 and they work fine.
does any one no where i can download and good coyote calls for free if you do send me a message with the link thank
it was around 3 oclock.the first time the call howled he started howling.im guessing it was a male to come to the female howl and male challenge howl.if i hadnt turm my head to look at him i think he would of walked right by me.it all happened in around 20 minutes.
was in this afternoon.had one howling around 400 yards away in the valley to my right.he stopped and i never heard anything for a while.then i heard one to my left and it sounded close so i sat down turned towards that one.then all of a sudden i sees something move in the corner of my eye and i look and theres a coyote looking right at me from about 30 ft.he was standing on the crest of the little nob i was on.he was looking at me then he looked at my decoy and back and forth for about 2 minutes.in order to shoot i had to do almost a 180.i waited to see if he would move but no sir.not a budge.the only chance i had was to turn as fast as i could and try to get a shot.when i turn he took off.not shot after all.i was using the female howl first and the change it to the male challenge howl.thats one one that brought him in i think.
Part 2 is just as good lolol.
