Most of those coyotes were killed in around the Middle Ridge caribou herd back when the coyotes were hitting them hard. The guy on the left(who I know) did a story on one of the hunts in the Nfld. Sportsman magazine several years ago. This was back when hardly anyone was hunting for Nfld. coyotes.
That picture is several years old...I have seen it many times. Trapping is my guess!
