Yes i would think given the size of the track that it is. When or if you see a fox track you will see the difference.
Looks like coyote tracks to me too. Straight line and dragging its toenails. Also the size compared to the .223 shell is about right. Fox would tend to be smaller and rounder on averge and only 7-9 inches apart while just walking like that.
Fox are similsr but the coyote drages it front toe nail on the ground. i have a few pic's on my page that can show you the difference.
