Up in the woods and came accross this big track and followed it for a few miles, you never know might be stupid although if he got this big not an accident. he was following a caribou track in the snow the whole way till he came to a moose yard. He drove them (two) from there and continued on his way after the caribou. I tracked him to the end of that road where he went into the woods still on caribou track. There was another road just a few hundred meters to the north and not enough snow for my skidoo so I turned around and went to check on some marten snags.
Also attached is this video of some carrots that was put out at Wooddale. The caribou, lots of them were feeding on the carrots and guess who was watching the caribou, coyote! Nice bit of sign around there again now. Bright and early??
yeah the 3x9x50 was on sale but sold out now.i ordered a 3x9x40
Nikon Prostaff is on sale right now at www.cabelas.ca . That's Cabelas Canada.
thanks.i was looking at a prostaff.i think thats what ill get.now if only i could get a coyote in the crosshairs itll be alright
Bushnell Trophy or Nikon Prostaff are both pretty good at a reasonable price.(Under $200) They each come in 3x-9x 40mm. Good light gathering size. You could go more expensive but these will definitely do the job.
