Yes can bait coyotes. Most people do.
I heard a primos power dawg and it sounds just like the foxpro rabbit distress calls. The Primos is on sale now for $119 @ Cabelas. Good luck!!
Hey I was looking for advice on which type of Foxpro caller to get. I'm kind of caught between the Spitfire and Firestorm models. What do you guys think? What about the other ones. I'll be using it both as a moose and a coyote caller. Which do you recommend and have had success with?
Hey Anthony, you don't have to buy sounds to put on the Foxpro. Provided you have one that has the usb port for computer hookup, just go to www.varmintal.com . He has plenty of high quality sounds available for download and they are all free. I have had good luck with his 16 minute sequence. It has a nice mixture of howls and distress sounds. Also, if you have a coyote coming to bait it isn't really necessary to call at that spot. It just puts the coyote more on alert. They are jumpy enough when coming in to a bait site anyway! If it's been there before it already knows where to go. Good luck!
