This licence permits hunters to hunt coyote using centrefire rifle calibres up to and including: 225 (i.e: .17 Rem, .22 Hornet, .204 Ruger, .218 Bee, .222 and .223 Rem., 223 WSSM, .22-250 Rem., .220 Swift, .224 Weatherby Mag., and .225 Win). Hunters using shotguns may only use No. 2 shot or larger (slugs are not permitted). Holders of a coyote shooting licence are not permitted to use rimfire rifles to hunt coyotes.

What is the difference between the holder of coyote shooting licence and the holder of a small game licence since the former is not permitted to use a rim fire rifle to hunt coyotes and the latter is during the small game season. My guess is that the rifles know who is taking the shot and works better for one than it does for the other. Can't figure this one out.

seen a coyote this morning on the tch by witless bay line on the side of the road he was road kill but its the first one i seen here on the avalon lol gives me more hope on geting one this year

I do believe you can use buckshot. I carry 00Buck Shot for Coyotes.

I have and use a big horn and a MP3 player and downloaded 100 calls of the net and it works great and a hell of alot cheaper. I also use the hand held rabbit distress call as well and that will bring the crows in mad. I also use the Mojo critter. Called in one but never got a good shot at it.
