just spotted a coyote in on old petty hr road right by the gates in kilbride. was up there with my boys on the dirt bikes, and he crossed right in front of us.

Good question Tony. I know that in many US states you can carry two ready to go guns, but not here. But that's okay if you have a partner .. one handles a rifle and the other a shotgun. I'm told by a friend on the west coast that he and his buddy take turns and that they've had several close-in kills where only a shotgun would do it. In one case a yote came straight in really fast and in the other, a yote came in close from tree line behind their stand.

You are only permitted to hunt with one firearm, the other must be cased. Have you had any luck at all with the coyotes?

One of the guys I know, heard coyotes howling up in Brigus Juction this past weekend.

Hi, when you are hunting Coyotes are you alloud to have say like in my case, a 22-250 & a semi auto shotgun with me at the same time, or do one of them have to be locked and cased.thanks.

There were 2 coyotes spotted in a back yard on Harrington Dr, cowan heights,  friday May 13,2011. Close to the playground.

I spend a lot of time in Argentia and there are quite a few down here in the Backlands. I have been wondering if it's legal to shoot one in a non hunting area if it were to come near you? If you were camping for instance? I hear all of these horror stories from here in Placentia Bay about savage coyotes and I am finding it hard to believe! If you were walking would one really attack you?

You should see it peter. One of the biggest i have ever seen on any site. They are hanging around the houses out there. He was just taken right behind the house about 900 yards in. They come right to his door step. Not good.
