Is anyone else noticing that reloading components are becoming tough to come by. its almost impossible to find anything in 223

I expect it to worsen. I was able to get some bulk 55 grain FMJSP from Higginson's a few weeks back. Brass I have lots and enough CCI SR primers. I have also been stocking up on 22lr as it is becoming scarce in the USA.
Perhaps a bulk buy is in order??
Not a bad idea, I began stocking up last fall picking up additional brass powder and bullets. But I think this time it may be tight for a while, so you never know how much is enough.
Group buys are a great way to go as people like Higginson will often pick up some of the dangerous goods and shipping costs for larger volumes.
Higginson's will pay shipping for powder orders over 20# total and the dangerous goods fee is $25 regardless of the quantity shipped. Would need several people to participate in a bulk buy who live close enough to each other for distribution of the received goods. I know this is popular among the IDPA/IPSC crowd, many who are reloaders. Too bad there isn't a reloaders club out there or least I haven't found one locally. It would serve to make the hobby more affordable, safe and help introduce more people to the fun and enjoyment of making your own ammo.
BTW I reload 45 auto, 45 Colt, 9mm, .223, .308 and hopefully soon for the .35 Remington. I also cast for the pistols. My next project is to cast for the rifles.
I reload rifle rounds mostly

A club would be a great idea, I drive out of province a couple times a year so I usually stock up from Higginsons when I past thru Ontario.
We used to do a fair amount of bulk buys a few years ago with a few of the boys I work with. As a matter of fact I've brokered a couple of buys myself. I don't seem to shoot enough lately to warrant a bulk buy. Shame really. I like the club idea though.
Well that is three of us who like the club idea. If we can generate interest in a few more then it might be a viable undertaking. Perhaps the SJR&GC would would agree to letting us seek interest on their website and let us use their facilities for meetings. Are we all members?
I am a member of SJ Rod and Gun. Actually I think everyone should be a member of a Rod and Gun Club. I am sure they would have no problem.
The Gander Rod and Gun ysually does a bulk buy of 12 gauge shells annually.
