Just wondering what everybody's favorite accessory is in their camper? For me it would have to be the kuerig coffee machine. If you are a coffee drinker it can't get any easier for a good cup of…Continue

Just got back from that site near Long Harbour. Excellent spot! Trout pond on each side, moose walking by and peace and quiet. ( when we weren't making noise ourselves.) Unfortunately I forgot to bring my tablet to take a few pictures. I will try to figure out how to get some off of my wifes facebook and post them here later. Will definitely return there again for another round. But always interested in finding new spots on the Avalon.
There is not near enough parks in NL now to enjoy camping. Seems like there are way too may season sites.
NL needs more parks..............Do you agree?
I joined up because I love camping.
I have a 26.5ft Springdale.
Hope to meet some of you guys in the parks sometime.
I found a spot out near Long Harbour with water and electrical hookups for $15 a night. Only 5 or 6 sites there and all vacant. Right on a fair sized pond too. Heading out Friday for a long weekend. Hopeful that there will be a few speckles in that water. Will let you know how it turns out and try to get a couple of pictures.
I do know of 1 spot on Witless Bay line but I will have to drive by first and check to see if any spots are empty. But it is always good to learn of other spots too.
So now that school is out all the rv parks seem to be booked to capacity. Any suggestions on where some good dry camping spots are on the avalon?
