Last year there were a # of people who got a fine with not having the salmon taged right. When the season opened untill  july 14/2011 alot of people got up to $900.00 in fines for not having the new system for punching a hole in the cards, you have now for 2011. If you are someone that got fined, please let me know because it is wrong to give a fine out befor the new law is in place. People had there salmon in there home and did not know of this law.

There will be a second charge layed for those of you who got fined.

There are 100's of people who got this fine and i think that it was wrong.

Let me know what you think.

Fine for what? Inproperly tagged salmon with the new tag system? Please give us an example...

Useing the old way and getting charged for the new way when the new way was not even out yet.

If you had a salmon the first week of july and a warden stopped you, he would give you a fine for not useing the new system for tagging your salmon. When you did not even know about it.

Well the new tags and system came out May of last year (2010). So I don't understand how you could use the "old" system. If a person purchased a license last year or this year the new tags with rules and regulations came with them. There is no excuse for tagging them wrong.
