Thanks Guys.....its was a great start to the season. Peter, this was a 15 foot aluminum scanoe that was basically beat to death...I cut about a seven foot section out of it, overlapped the front and back, put in 75 or so, sheet metal screws to secure it, then fibreglassed the outside. I caulked the inside, then painted it camoflauge for looks. It floats like a dream and only weights about 25lbs. I retrieved all our ducks with it and so other fellows as well.
