well it was about 1 hour before dark, i set up at the end of a bog that sloped into a valley with more small bogs and skirts of woods, the weather was sunny and with no wind.  I called with the lightnin jack call on the spitfire for about 45 min( call for about 2 min then wait about 4-5 min and call again), i was ready to leave so i tried the locator and got a response just inside the woods, so i went back to the distress call on low for a minute or 2 then went with some coyote vocals and the coyote came running out to about 50 yards...i missed high with the first shot(rifle is sighted for 200 yards and i didnt think). i barked and got her to stop and looked back over herself at 150 and i nailed her right in the mouth.
