Haven't seen a King Eider in years...

I use to get a few of these when I hunted on the Northern Penninsula..I had 2 mounted and are now out in the St. John's Rod and Gun Club..

Thats a pic from last year. I was out the first Sunday of the season and i didn't see many at all. I think its a bit early yet and not enough cold weather to bring the birds down.
