In Quebec the limit is 20 fish, any size, per person. Much better limit than in Labrador, if you are looking for a few extra fillets. This is taken to the west of Blanc Sablon in St Augustine. You can buy a one, three (about $35.00) or seven day license. No guide is required.

This is our three day catch, which amounts to 20 trout each. We ice down our trout and clean them all at one time. It is at the time we are preparing to clean the trout that this picture was taken. Again, 20 fish over 3 days works out to about 7 fish per day. Nothing was wasted and some fillets were shared with family and friends.

Nice picture if you just had the 2 in your hands, why would ya want so many? If the law says you can catch 100, do that make it right? When are we as humans gonna learn.
