Don't put them with the golden eyes. Put the 3 together a bit away from them.

i have 3 teal decoys that i dont throw out...has not been teal ducks around this place since 1990..used to be 3-4 around the shoreline but now i rarely see them..would it be a good idea to put them out with the 14 goldeneye decoys?

Merganser decoys I think should be set like other puddle duck decoys and not in a straight line. Usually when mergs line up its because they are leaving the area. Put them out 1 here 1 there. I'll think you'll see better action that way. When you set your seeks next time face them in if possible. Good luck!

yeah someone told me i had them wrong direction..but didnt really matter cause there seems to be very few goldeneye in the bay ..another hunter said this year seems strange..all i see is merganser...lots of them..theres always seven hanging around to the left of the picture...i got them to swim in once for a shot but never got a one.

the ducks are swimming away. I like to have them heading in so it appears they are coming in to feed.
