This nice male came to the call after only a couple minutes. Shot him at about 125-150 yds. Rifle is a Tikka T3, .22-250. Tikka makes an awesome rifle. I highly recommend it.

I thought thats what it was. It has that predator reticle. Those Nikons are nice scopes for the price. I have a Pro staff on my T3 lite 204 with a 4-12 ., mine has the mil-dot reticle. Those Tikkas are great shooters.
Thats a Nikon Coyote 3x-9x 40mm. It has little circles in the crosshairs calibrated for a 55 grain bullet at ranges from 200 out to 450 yds. for .22-250 or from 100 to 400 yds. for .223.
nice looking rig. What scope did you top it off with.?
Thanks Tyson. For our Nfld. weather I figure stainless with a synthetic stock is the way to go. Still has to be cleaned but at least I don't have to baby it in the rain or when fighting through the tucks. I have seen a few fancy rifles scratched and rusting after a week in the woods during my years of guiding moose hunters. Not to mention expensive wooden stocks split from all the dampness.
Very nice looking gun!
