yea scott ,you got to hold on tight to the 338.....lol it can bring blood to ur eye brow too ,an the report is ear deafing ,,but the kills are instant ,,lol,,

I fired the 300 mag today, I absolutely love the rifle. I don't the recoil bad at all, I shouldn't being a 300 pounder myself. Can't wait to go after the moose with this gun.

Nice gun, I need a scope with more eye relief for mine, It busts open my eye every time. Fortunately the new ones got a better recoil pad, I learn the hard way, why you need a good one.  I wonder what the kick on the 338's and the 400's is considering what the 300 is like.  Good luck.

Wont be doing much rabbit hunting this year unless you get it early Pete. BTW all you need to do is draw blood and he wont be going far, I shot a animal a few years ago, round entered behind the fore sholder and exited with a hole the size of a softball below the ribs.
