if you want to make it strong  you can cover it with burlap and floor tile glue makes them hard

thanks for the info, im planing on doing a little more cutting then ill start making the "real" shape and using sand paper and my demal tool

a sand paper disc in a glinder works well and a wood  shaver for hack saw
