Any Progress on the .17 HMR Rimfire?

Hey guys i have been wondering if anyone has heard if there has been anything decided on the .17 HMR rimfire or if we are going to be able to use them anytime soon?...it's a dandy little gun for spot and stalk rabbit hunting and is a real tack driver compared to a .22LR , I have one and i have hunted with mine in alberta a few years ago.

Honestly I don't expect any movement by government on this issue. As if now we gave no one to represent hunters and outdoors people. I have been thinking of bringing back the Newfoundland Federation of Hunters and Anglers.
To do so requires commitment. I may reach out and see if anyone is interested in making a commitment.
