I just would like to see how many people would use a guide service/equipment out side of there own usual hunting area within Newfoundland and Labrador? if so how much would they be willing to pay. If not, why?

They had 18 geese "do it yourself" here opening week that's why they were underwhelmed although as a guide i know your completely right in what your saying about guided hunts.

I agree wholeheartedly. Its common for many first timers to measure success by the numbers killed. If you go often enough you will soon learn there are many factors that make a good hunt. I think most people have never looked into guided hunts fully. But they are a tremendous way to experience things you might never see otherwise.

I agree you’re not guaranteed success but if you have a good time treated well with hot meals and a warm camp with friendly people it’s worth the money. The good shooting is a great bonus though lol glad to see they had some sucess in codroy.

Id pay a guide to get me access to good shooting.Depending on where you live the hunting varies. For example someone from Gander might want to go eider hunting. Using a reputable guide would be a great way to get access to equipment and locations.
