On all size shells or just the 3.5"?

Christopher not to let you down, but i had 3 of the 835 and they all were no good. They would not ejected the shell up into the barrel. Had 3 of them in 3 days. Good luck with it.

It certainly seems like a nice tough gun. I got a new Mossberg 835 in Max4 camo for Christmas, and it's also a solid well-made 3.5" gun, and a good choice. (I'm a lefty, and I prefer the Mossberg's safety placement over the Remington's).

It's funny you should say that Christopher, because that is what i have. I was the first one to buy one in Newfoundland. lol

My cousin has had one for about a year and a half, and other than the front sight coming off easily at first (he had to superglue it to the rib) he's had no issues. From what I've heard the newer 887s have far fewer issues than the first run.

Well all ican say that it is a hit or miss. I have one and put about 6000 rounds down the barrel and had no trouble, but a good friend of mine got a new one and had nothing only trouble with it.
