I have a plastic hard rifle case like a lot of people have. I found my rifle moved inside so I looked around for harder foam. I found 3x5 sheets at Princess Auto for $10. I cut it to the shape of my case, then laid out my rifle, bolt and bipod in the arrangment I liked best. I traced around them with a marker, started cutting about a cm into the foam with a razor blade type knife. I finished cutting through with my hunting knife. In the bipod shape, between the legs, I used a drill bit to make a hole for the screwdriver (to mount the bipod). I may add a shape for a small margerine container, to put my bore snake in. I only needed to replace the foam in one side of the case. Now nothing moves around in the case. I am keeping an eye out for a thin yoga mat to cut and put behind the new foam so my rifle doesn't touch the plastic case.

Put my Savage 110 in. Screwed up a bit though, when I cut the hole for the sling, I cut into the screwdriver hole. Now the screwdriver sticks out and will scratch up my sling. A smaller screwdriver should fix that.
Forgot about my leather strap, looks like I won't have room for the bore snake after that.
I see, in the Princess Auto catalogue, I can buy what appears to be a thin foam liner for toolboxes (by the foot). I asked in the store yesterday though, and the guy didn't know about it.
