NFHA needs members

I only just joined this site recently and enjoy it thoroughly.  This is the first blog  I've ever written, but here I go. When I first joined,  Albert Linegar invited me to join the NFHA. Well after looking around this site and then looking around the NFHA site, I thought I would have to be a fool not to join. So I printed off a few membership applications at work Friday afternoon. When I got home from work I bumped into 3 of my friends. I told them about the discounts I was soon to be receiving at some  stores we all shop at because of membership benefits with the NFHA.  Monday morning I will be mailing out 4 membership applications! What I don't understand is that there are over 1800 members in Totally Outdoors and under 100 in the NFHA. Both sites are for lovers of the outdoors but one costs 5 bucks to join. Surely this amount of money cannot be out of reach for that many people. If we want to continue to enjoy our favorite pastimes in the future the NFHA is the best way to ensure a sustainable resource for all of us.
