Just talking to wildlife and they told me that the permit to transport is only good for one day. So if you are going for a few days you will have to go to the nearest office and pick up a new permit even if it is an hour away and go back to pick up your gun and head home. What a load of crap. This for sure needs to be changed.

I'm not happy on these rules either It's sad because even if you have a coyote license you can't bring along cheap full metal jacket ammo to practice with, even if you're carrying the correct hunting ammo too. Same for skeet/target shot, can only bring 2 and up...
Ya I know that it is only one click and that sucks as well.
Good luck getting that changed !!!!
in this Gunaphobic World we are living in.
I keep my membership up in the Rod and Gun Clubs, works for my shotguns, rimfires, large bores and for 22 centrefires my coyote license works from Sept thru July !
a whole lot less cost and hassle than getting permits.
And everyone who owns a gun should support Rod and Gun Clubs.
Did they tell you that your not allowed to go more than 1 km away from a highway to site it in?
