I'm planning on hunting everything. Waterfowl, grouse, partridges. Anything that your allowed to hunt with a shotgun and there is a season for then I will be trying to go at it if I can fit it into my schedule. And I do want a gun that will shoot 3.5" shells. Thanks for the recommendation on Benelli Robert, but I've decided on the 887. I actually reserving her this weeks.

I did a lot of research last year before I purchased my new pump action 12 ga. In the end I decided on the Benelli Super Nova. I believe the regular Nova is in the same price catagory as the 887... You should check out Benelli!

Good question Vince. I have read many reports on the 887 & the 870. My best advice, do some research online. Find out the pros and cons. Read the reviews of the owners of these shotguns, not people on the payroll of these companies. I was looking at the 870 but decided on a Baikal MP 153 semi. Talk to people who own guns and not people who sell guns. You may get 2 very different views.
