Resources/Exploration road back of the Salmonier River

Good day all I am wondering if there is any info floating around on the purposed road that they plan to run up through the country back of the Salmonier River. I was up moose hunting today back of the Rod and Gun Club and found the orange flags for the layout of the road and as an avid hunter we are going to loose some prime hunting if it goes in there.

Good day all just an update on this subject there have been an appeal filed with provincial court to try and stop this. If you look in the latest NL Sportsman you can find the link to a facebook site setup to stop this please support it if at all possible I had success moose hunting in this area again this year and it will be lost for the gains of a few if not stopped.

Seems like we are selling our soul for a hand full of dollars. Long after the money is gone the land will still be destroyed...

Peter I have to say people need to take notice this will ruin a prime hunting area I couldn't believe where they plan to put this it is truly sad to see a pristine hunting area about to be destroyed.

It is indeed very sad to those of us who enjoy the outdoors. We had a post up for several weeks on this very topic and very very little response. There were several posts on Facebook on the same topic. Again very little input. I honestly don't think anyone cares. By the time people come to realize what has happened and the damage that has been caused. It will be too late.
