Northeast coast Brendan. There are some eiders but so far they are pretty scarce this year, how about down your way?

That eider was shot last week on the Northern Peninsula. Saw about 10-12,000 but very few would come within shot range. Managed to get a few on the wing, but didn't have much luck decoying them at all...which is somewhat odd. They usually flew high and away from us, which I don't consider to be much fun, haha.

I'm a guide but Big game overlaps the best time for freshwater bird hunting if i was to get into that...my method is posted as a reply in the waterfowl 101 section "Idiot proof method"...added to my thoughts on waterfowling on the island on Michaels wall....I'll post a blog with tips we picked up over the years when I get a chance some day.
no me and my dad seen these geese hunting shows from PEI on tv and thought it was pretty cool a few years back so when i got my gun course and everything dont i asked him if we could take a trip up there and try it so we did and it was really cool haha seen lots different types of ducks and geese but yea it was in PEI
