And thank you..I need some coyote tips for nature photography.I heard tha mid may they have their pups,I just do not want to be in the woods and come across them..Can you give some advice on what to look for, like certain types of areas they may be,hills, rocks ect...I am a nature photographer and in the woods alot but have never seen one..Lately rumors are going that they are in this close area,as I said I am always in woods unarmed..I would like to know the landscape they flock to,how to see them before they see me,and if I should be spraying myself to hide human scent ?
Hi Ed, Been trying to contact you .......did you get my message re a meeting in St. John's tomorrow night ...weds, May 18, Sobey's ropewalk lane? All the Best Wood
Ed I have the stats permits issued to waterfowl hunters in all the provinces and territories right across Canada from 1966 to 2009. and was wondering if it might be of interest to the members.
Edward, I was recently informed by a wildlife officer that in Newfoundland you could hunt rabbits at night with a firearm as long as no artifical light was used.Is this true and does the same apply for coyote hunting? Thanks, this is an awesome site.
Thanks Ed .. great site! I've been reviewing coyote hunting material for the past year or so and recently decided take the leap and gather the necessary tools in order to participate. It appears to be a big step up in terms of honing hunting skill and testing patience. I don't know about skill but I have lots of patience.
Thanks to all, I used to live in Gander and do lots of duck and goose hunting in the surronding area. Now i live in Whitby Ontario and do alot more goose hunting than duck.
