No I was using those 3.5 inch heavy metal shells.I opened with a pair of BB and a BBB as a chaser

 I was pleased

I have to say that this rip on a video teaches a lot about dog training and hunting.Firstly I dont recall Chase ever having this many birds now at once.( four of us knocked down 10 birds in one rip) Its obvious that it had him thrown off. Secondly it was the fact that this was the first rip of day and we were trying to get the birds picked up as quickly as possible, to be ready for the next flock.

Frankly this day was probably the most amazing I have ever had and I have had some good days.It was snowing hard and the birds were migrating we couldnt see them until they came falling in through the snow.
