I don't know but I'd like to do something along those lines myself. I will ask around see what I can come up with.
Wow, I just looked up where you are on a map. Incredible. Probably some of the most beautiful country to be kayaking in. Yeah, I've had my fair share of wildlife encounters on a kayak that I would not want to re-create. Seals, sea lions, and even a humpback whale! The ocean is wild enough for me!
I'll send you a PM with my email address. Thanks a million, Boyd.
Hi Boyd, Thanks for getting back to me. I was curious about the cod fishing you've done, not the trout. I figure for trout I can try any number of lakes close to me as kayaking on a lake is a lot safer than the ocean.
I just read a comment you wrote last year (I believe) about you fishing for cod and did ok. Not looking for specific spots, just an idea of how far off shore you go in that area. I'm in a kayak and I'm trying to find safe spots to go. Also for the sake of privacy, feel free to send me a personal message. I just moved to NL from Alaska and don't know anybody here which is why I'm looking to connect with people over the internet, so no worries about me spot burning.
thanks
If you want to you can check out the NFHA web site at completebushcraft.wix.com/nfha and read the letter to the minister in our blogs.
Albert.
Just type " The Big Triangle Pond Mineral Exploration Access Road " into your Google search bar and you can see what I am talking about . The NFHA has written a strong letter of protest to Minister Joan Shea against approving this proposal as it now stands . The picture which you posted is a perfect example of of our reasons for doing so.
Albert.
