Well I said the collars aint legal I know but....I ordered em on ebay cuz hey if they aint legal they wouldn't send em right????well guess what they sent em and we had to pay though the nose at customes but from time we ordered to the time we got em was like 5 days...so if customs let them through I'm gonna use em.So what else can I said bys...if ya wants the collars order em and use away cuz me and the old man are.....best of luck

Can't remember the site but just go on google and type"are the gps dog tracking systems legal in canada" that's all I put In and searched a bit and found it..but gonna change in 2014 they say.

Hey Fellas, good point by all, as far as I can see this law was made in 2009 and since there have a few amendents. See the following link http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst...g/sf09543.html.

I use the garmin Astro GPS I just downloaded an app from my iphone, works great!!

Of course i don't want to be breaking the law, Mike if possible can you send me the info on where this is printed.

I totally agree. Those damm windy days when you can't hear anything. Anyone that has hunted with dogs has lost sight or sound of them for hours or even days. at least this will give us the knowledge to find our dogs. The 2 girls (dogs) I have, are with me everywhere I go. If I go to the store they are in the car with me. So if a GPS can keep me up on where they are, perfect. Like I said before....

Canada is so backwards, Im supprised we don't shave our ass's and walk backwards.

I agree peter...I was just sayin it to let everyone know so they didn't get caught off guard.I'm lookin into it to by cuz I got 4 dogs and one went missing yesterday for 3 hrs.Wasn't sure if someone stole her cuz there was people in the area,but found her after way back in the woods barkin mad on a rabbit,fellas cuttin survey lines said she never stopped for the day in there.Would of been nice just to know where she was,collars would of came in handy then
